• Save the Date for the Downtown San Mateo Art Walk on February 19th! The festivities will start at 5pm with a fashion photoshoot featuring clothes from Josef! The walk will take place on South B Street between 1st and 3rd Avenues. There will be wine, fashion, and music, then stop by our table at Gators to show your support! See you there.

Downtown san mateo art walk (fashion)

The Downtown San Mateo Association is sponsoring an Art Walk on February 19, 2009 from 5pm to 8pm. Visit shops and restaurants along South B Street between 1st and 3rd Avenues and view live models featured in Josef Boutique clothing. It'll be a great night starting with a fashion photo shoot and ending with live Blues music at Gator's Neo-soul Cafe. We're very excited to be one of the participants of the Art Walk, as well as making new friends and seeing you!

5pm: The Shoot
Stop by Photography SF (on map point A) to watch the fashion photo shoot and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

6pm: Art Walk Commences
Walk along South B Street and see models as live installations in the windows of our favorite local shops and eateries. Models wearing Josef clothing will be featured at Tres Amigos (point B), Play N Trade (point C), Spa Studio (point D), and Gator's (point E).

7pm - 8pm: Reception at Gator's
Visit Josef staff at our table and stick around to enjoy live Blues music and neo-soul food. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

While looking for ideas for Valentine's Day Decorations, I came across this article on how to make knot bracelets on marthastewart.com. These are perfect for the times because they are very low cost, if at all. I don't know what it is about string and thread bracelets, but I've always thought they were what the cool girls wear. Take a look at the instructions, I'm sure you'll be fine, and in no time sporting a fancy new bracelet. I think they'd also make great gifts or party favors for your friends. I especially like the red and brown ones in the picture above. Just for good measure here's a casual outfit to wear with your new treasures: white t-shirt, Ksubi super skinnies, a printed scarf wrapped around your neck, ballet flats (your choice of color) and your gorgeous new bracelets. We heart Wren

So does Hollywood's young and powerful. Since launching her collection in 2007, Melissa Coker's clothing has been snatched up by fashion forward celebrities such as Keira Knightley, Katie Holmes and Vanessa Hudgens.
